We are pleased to announce the 18th JCSDA Technical Review Meeting and Science Workshop will be held virtually during the week of June 7 - 11, 2021. The workshop was canceled last year due to COVID-19.

The annual JCSDA Technical Review Meeting and Science Workshop enables scientists partnering with JCSDA and the external research community to share the latest developments in satellite data assimilation, particularly as they relate to the status of JCSDA priorities and projects.

In 2019, we saw more than 130 registered participants come together for the three-day event comprised of 27 oral presentations, 2 poster sessions, and a multitude of informal discussions at NASA Headquarters in Washington D.C. Session topics included radiative transfer, the JEDI project, observations, and applications. The JCSDA intends to build on the success of the 2019 workshop in 2021.

This year, the workshop will be held virtually with an emphasis on similar topic areas and a slightly different format to accommodate virtual engagement. More information on how to register will become available soon.
